Tilery School Uniform
From September 2026 we have introduced an Active Uniform.
An active uniform has many benefits for primary aged children including;
- Allowing children to move freely and safely, promoting gross motor skills
- Encouraging independence with dressing
- Ensuring children are more comfortable during outdoor and active learning
As a school, we try to introduce more ways to help keep the children active, ensure all children are comfortable and achieve better value for money for you.
Our new uniform will consist of:
- Plain navy cuffed joggers or leggings. (Without branding or logos)
- Plain navy shorts/skorts (summer only)
- Yellow crew neck t-shirt or polo shirt
- Cobalt blue school fleece (with or without the school logo)
- Black Velcro trainers/shoes
We expect all pupils from nursery to year 6 to wear our school uniform everyday to school.
Uniforms can be purchased from any supermarket or high street store. We do not require uniform to be embroidered with the school logo, however, if you wish to have your child’s uniform embroidered with a school logo, these can be purchased from

SECOND HAND UNIFORM
School sometimes hold surplus of pre loved uniforms, if you are struggling with the cost of a school uniform for your child/ren, please speak to the school office who will be happy to help.
During school events, we hold stalls where new and pre loved uniform items can be purchased for a small donation. Keep checking our monthly newsletters or Facebook page for further information.
