School Meals Service
School dinners are provided by Stockton-
Borough-Council Catering Service. Children in
Reception up to year 2 will be entitled to a free
school meal. From Year 3 onwards, unless you are
entitled to income related free school meals, the
cost of a school meal per week is £12.50 or £2.50
a day. The payment for meals is due, in advance,
on Monday of each week, so that food orders
can be placed by the cook. If you think your child
may be entitled to free meals, please contact the
school office or the Free School Meals Service
who can be reached on 01642 526606.
Our preferred method of payment is via our online
payment system which is Parent Pay. However, we
are still able to take cash payments via the school
office.
If your child would like to change to packed lunch-
es or school meals, we kindly ask that you give two
weeks’ notice to allow our school cook to order
sufficient stock.
Morning Snack
Fruit is available to all children at break time.
Children in the Foundation Stage and KS1
receive ‘free fruit’ each day as part of the
government scheme ‘free fruit for schools’.
Packed Lunches
Children may also bring a packed lunch to
school, however we are a nut free school so can
we ask that no nut products of any kind, fizzy
drinks, chocolate bars or sweets are not
permitted. We do have children onsite with nut
allergies, so we kindly ask that it is essential
you do not bring nut products into school.
Children are able to bring other flavoured
drinks in their packed lunch, however there will
be a range of drinks available in the dining hall
for children.
We ask for two weeks’ notice if your child
wishes to change from a school meal to a
packed lunch, and children should not alternate
between packed lunches and school meals
during the week.
Supervisory Assistants are employed at
lunchtime to look after the children and ensure
their health and safety.
All children who are on site at lunchtimes are
reminded that these assistants are members
of staff and should be treated as such.
PLEASE NOTE, IF YOUR CHILD BRINGS A
PACKED LUNCH TO SCHOOL, WE WILL
NOT BE ABLE TO WARM LUNCHES UP,
NOR WILL WE BE ABLE TO SERVE HOT
FOOD BROUGHT TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE.
