Our year 5 and year 6 pupils took part in first aid training today with Mini Medics. They learned all about basic first aid skills,how to perform CPR, how to contact 999 in an emergency, recovery position, checking air ways and many more life saving skills.
The children showed great enthusiasm and were praised by the coaches about their behaviour and attitude towards learning. Each child that participated received a certificate.
Thank you to Mr and Mrs Smith for taking the time to show our children what to do in the event of someone becoming unwell and needing assistance.
